Jan Riggins is an artist from Fort Worth, Texas in the United States. Although she earned a degree in clarinet performance from the University of Oklahoma, her love of performing art shifted to the visual arts later in life. She began experimenting with highly detailed watercolors, but in 2016 she discovered chalk art. In 2020 and in 2021, after practicing every week in her neighborhood, Jan began creating 3D (anamorphic) chalk artworks. She enjoys making realistic creations, often exploring different textures, surfaces and transparencies.
Jan has discovered that street art allows her to combine her love of performance art with visual art. She enjoys creating pieces that are fun, interactive and visually impressive.
