2024: VW Bug

“When I heard about the ‘Route 66’ theme, I knew I wanted to include imagery of a nostalgic automobile. Eventually, I decided on a VW bug because I’ve always thought it was the cutest car. Then I decided to give it wings so it could fly because I always like my 3D street paintings to be magical in some way. I hope that my image combines the Route 66 theme with my distinct art style in a way that people will want to interact with.”

2026: Dino

One of the most recognizable roadside icons along Route 66 is Sinclair’s famous green dinosaur, affectionately known as DINO. First introduced in 1930, the giant Apatosaurus became a symbol of American road trips, appearing at gas stations, World’s Fairs, and even the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Climb onto DINO’s back and become part of a Route 66 tradition that has delighted travelers for generations.
