Chris: “My painting is about the freedom of the open road. The people can reach forward and grab the handlebars and have an American adventure.”
Nate: “My painting is about the connections you make with others on a road trip. You are friends with the rider and with man’s best friend, the dog riding with you. The sidecar is also a fun (and funny) addition to a motorcycle that prioritizes riding with a friend!”
Naomi: “When I heard about the ‘Route 66’ theme, I knew I wanted to include imagery of a nostalgic automobile. Eventually, I decided on a VW bug because I’ve always thought it was the cutest car. Then I decided to give it wings so it could fly because I always like my 3D street paintings to be magical in some way. I hope that my image combines the Route 66 theme with my distinct art style in a way that people will want to interact with.”
